Information we collect
We collect the information you provide when you place an order: your name, email, phone number, business name and state, EIN, formation date, registered agent details, and any notes you include. We also collect payment information via Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your information solely to prepare and submit your filing, communicate with you about your order, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third-party marketers.
Who has access
Our filing team — which may include contractors operating under confidentiality agreements — has access to the information needed to complete your order. Stripe processes your payment. Resend delivers our transactional emails. Supabase hosts our application database. Each provider is bound by their own privacy commitments.
Data retention
We retain order records for as long as required by law and for our legitimate business purposes — typically seven years for tax and audit reasons. You can request deletion of personally identifiable information at any time by emailing support@stayfiled.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (California, the EU, the UK, etc.), you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
